about me
Ever feel like life passes too quickly
when you spend too much of it in autopilot?
Days, weeks, months & years can disappear leaving us
to wonder: where did it go?
That’s how I feel.
Travelling, for me, is an opportunity to leave the autopilot existence of everyday routine.
Going somewhere where normality is a different beast
to the one I know, is exciting to me.
Time still passes of course, but I feel like I’m conscious for way more units of time and somehow...forgive the cheese, but
...I feel more alive.
I enjoy writing and love to travel.
So I’ve convinced my lovely girlfriend to put our ‘sensible’ lives on hold while we enjoy one more year of what my dad may describe as slightly reckless abandon.
i.e. no work and definitely no pension contribution.
Sorry Dad: I’ll try again next year.
